Our Gentle Giant. Our country may be small in size but it is inhabited by larger than life creatures. The appearance of the butanding against regular sized creatures is humbling. Their mere presence in our waters is breathtaking.
It is amazing that we share our waters with these giants who chose the Philippines as one of their homes. It also comes with serious responsibility when interacting with the wild. It is a surreal and rare experience to swim among butandings but an experience that should be engaged with utmost care.
